On December 22, 2017, the President of the United States signed into law major tax reform in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). The TCJA made widespread changes to the Internal Revenue Code which will affect your 2018 tax return. Please see my TCJA Changes document for some of the more common changes.
2019 Filing to Begin
The IRS notified us that the tax filing season will begin on Monday, January 28, 2019.
2018 Filing Dates
The filing season will begin on January 29th for individual filers. Partnership, S-corporation, and multi-member LLC tax returns are due March 15th. C corporation and individual tax returns will be due by April 17th this year.
